For nearly a decade now, the city of Jefferson Police Department has hosted National Night Out and JFD is a proud supporter. JFD was out supporting Jelli's Market for their Dirt Days weekend, firefighter Tony Land was demonstrating how quickly he can put his gear on. The ever famous Fire Pup braves the cold for the Jefferson Parade of Lights in early December. JFD provides Fire and EMS coverage for the county fair, things start off with truck/tractor pulls and the final day provides excitement with the 'demo derby'. Three generations of Jefferson ladder trucks are on display during the G-Days parade. It's always a fun time during the parade! The Jefferson Fire & EMS Department assists with the opening ceremonies for 'Tomorrow's Hope'. To learn more about this great organization, please click here to visit their Facebook page. We have a great relationship with our school district (SDOJ) and appreciate being able to provide demonstrations to the students. Click here for a link to their Facebook page. A little rivalry between neighboring town is great fun! The Fort Atkinson Fire/Police and Jefferson Fire/Police departments have battled on the field for several years! Many of our current members came from the city of Jefferson and attended Jefferson High School. Pictured below are those who have stepped up to serve their community.
